Ok, I know this isn’t very body positive, but it’s funny, so let’s all just relax!
I’m actually not much for the “no pain, no gain” mentality, and I think you should wear whatever you want to the damn pool party. But if you do feel uncomfortable in your body and you want to do something about that, then I’M ALL FOR IT!
Sometimes we have to do uncomfortable things to get us to where we want to go - like working out, choosing the healthy dish, going to sleep early, or reprogramming the toxic thought patterns in our brains. Thinking about doing it for your future self vs. the current self that just wants instant gratification can be really helpful.
