Preheat cast iron pan to medium high
3.
Add the ghee, Cook the Pattie, dont not touch for 3 minutes.
4. Sauté the mushrooms and spinach until wilted on the other side around 3 minutes.
5. Turn over Pattie and repeat ^ 3 Minutes do not touch or fiddle! Otherwise will not create a crust and will stick and break!
6.
Slice an avocado 🥑
7.
Turn heat off and place a spinach a spinach leaf like a wrap or use collard green or lettuce wrap, whatever is at your disposal!
8.
Season to taste, Tuck in and enjoy!
Add some tomatoes for some freshness & herbs 🌿

Steak Kebabs are the one of the best summer dinners! These are layered with juicy tender pieces of flavorful, marinated beef and colorful blend of tender veggies. . The perfect thing to make for the holiday.

Ingredients
Marinade 1/4 c olive oil1/4 c soy sauce1 1/2 tbsp fresh lemon juice1 1/2 tbsp red wine vinegar2 1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce1 tbsp honey2 tsp Dijon1 tbsp garlic1 tsp freshly ground black pepper Kebabs 1 3/4 lbs sirloin steak (look for thicker steaks), cut into 1 1/4 inch pieces8 oz button or cremini mushrooms, halved (unless small, keep whole)3 bell peppers (1 red, 1 green, 1 yellow) cut into 1 1/4-inch pieces1 large red onion diced into chunks (about 1 1/4-inch)1 Tbsp olive oil, plus more for brushing grill gratesSalt and freshly ground black pepper1/2 tsp garlic powder10 wooden skewer sticks soaked in water for at least 30 minutes.
Instructions
For the marinade: In a mixing bowl whisk together all marinade ingredients. For the kebabs: place steak into a gallon size resealable bag. Pour marinade over steak then seal bag while pressing out excess air and message marinade over steak. Transfer to refrigerator and allow to marinate 3 - 6 hours. Preheat a grill over medium-high heat to about 425 degrees (partway through preheating clean grill grates if they aren't already clean). With veggies on cutting board, drizzle with oil and lightly toss to coat (I actually don't toss the onion because I like it to stay in chunks, when you thread the onion on layer in chunks about 2 - 3 slices so they don' t burn up). Sprinkle veggies evenly with garlic powder and season with salt and pepper. To assemble kebabs layer steak and veggies onto kebabs in desired order, work to fit 4 steak pieces onto each kebab (I like to layer 2 onion slices together). Brush grill grates lightly with oil. Place kebabs on grill and grill until center of steak registers about 140 - 145 degrees for medium doneness, turning kebabs occasionally, about 8 - 9 minutes. Serve warm.

All these peppers come from the same plant. However, there are two major factors that determine why they come in different colors. .
✅ Time of harvesting

They all start out green and change colors as they mature. The green pepper changes to yellow or orange before reaching its most ripened color of red. .

Each bell pepper type contains nearly similar nutrition qualities; however, they do differ in their quantities of vitamin C. Yellow is in between ripeness of the green and red variety but contains the most vitamin C per 100 grams. The same quantity of yellow peppers contains 306% of the daily recommendation of vitamin C, whereas the red pepper comes in second with 213%. Lastly, the green pepper contains 134%. An adequate intake of vitamin C can help the body create and maintain collagen as well as help the body develop resistance to infectious compounds.
The vibrant red bell pepper contains the most vitamin A with 63% of the daily recommendation, followed by the green with 7%; the yellow contains about 4%. 𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗰𝗸?
When we share progress and transformation pictures we typically leave out the struggles 😏 so here's a reality check... Sometimes the scale will not move, or we feel like our body is no longer responding. We've hit a plateau 🤯. What should you do?
First, be honest with yourself. 👉 Are you eating the appropriate amount of food for your current activity? Is there 80-90% whole foods in your diet? Are you exercising enough or are you resting enough? Are you sleeping at least 7 hours each night? Are you balancing stress with relaxing activities?
See which area you can work on and start there. Also look at your circumstances. If there is something beyond your control going on (sick loved ones, etc) then it may not be the time to get it all right.
More importantly, keep going 💪. Ups and downs are part of the journey. Expecting a constant downward trend in weight is like expecting other areas of your life to be perfect. That would mean zero disagreements in relationships, kids behaving 100% of the time, clear skies 365 days a year, etc. 😯 Is that realistic? Give yourself some grace.
Keep working on it, make adjustments along the way, and the results will come.

Here are my tips for ensuring your next grocery store trip is purposeful and in line with your performance goals.
𝐓𝐢𝐩 #𝟏: Load up on fruits and vegetables first.
Fruits and vegetables are responsible for providing the body with key vitamins and minerals necessary for the body to perform at its optimal level.
They contain fiber that will help with regular bowel movements and help control blood sugar.
Lastly, they are great for decreasing inflammation in the body, especially if you have rigorous training sessions or even multiple training sessions in a day.
𝐓𝐢𝐩 #𝟐: Think “the less legs, the better” when selecting protein sources. So 🐟>🐔>🐄. You want lean protein sources to help the body rebuild and keep that muscle building turned on.
You want it to be lean because a diet that contains high amount of animal fat can lead to increased inflammation in the body. Not good, when you’re training like a beast.
𝐓𝐢𝐩 #𝟑: Get both simple and complex carbs.
We’ve all been told that complex carbs are good, and simple carbs are bad. Not true. The each have their purpose.
Simple carbs are great for before or after a workout to flood the muscles with carbs to fuel up. Complex carbs are great for other meals throughout the day to help feel full and gives a little extra fiber.
𝐓𝐢𝐩 #𝟒: Be strategic with your fat selection.
Go for the fat options that reduce inflammation, like nuts/nut butters, seeds, and olive oils, rather than fats that cause inflammation, like baked goods, pastries, and fried foods.
𝐓𝐢𝐩 #𝟓: Make sure to pick up some electrolytes.
This can be in the form of a low calorie sports drink, or electrolyte packets. It’s important to replenish electrolytes after an intense training session to prevent cramping which can really hinder your performance.

Today is my RD anniversary! One year ago today, scared and sweaty, I sat for the exam and left a dietitian! I’m so grateful for all that I’ve learned in my first year of practice so I’ll share some reflections with you:

✨studying does not stop after the exam. I continue to pull out my textbooks for refreshers especially when I have to do something that’s out of my day to day routine. ✨mentorship is everything. Seek out mentors, use them, and be very very grateful for them.
✨imposter syndrome is very, very real but you can either let the feeling cripple you or let it push you to continue to learn. Self-compassion and trusting your own growth is key. ✨it’s okay to not fully know what area you are interested in right away! My interest in working with eating disorders didn’t really emerge until the end of my program and though it would have been nice to have an ED-specific rotation, there are opportunities for learning and supervision beyond the internship. ✨ the job search is tough but it will shake out eventually. Networking in curious, meaningful ways helps.

Faço a muito tempo porque eu aaaamo queijo 🧀 e existem muitas variações dessa receita, mas essa que estou postando gosto de chamar de Pão de Queijo de Frigideira.⠀
Ingredientes:⠀

⠀2 col sopa rasa de farinha de tapioca ⠀
⠀1 col de café de requeijão light⠀

Bater os dois ovos em um prato e acrescentar a farinha de tapioca e o requeijão light. Misturar bem e despejar numa frigideira antiaderente espalhando bem pelos lados. Assar pelos dois lados e colocar pecadinhos de queijo por cima. Depois você fecha igual na foto, enrola por mais um tempinho na frigideira virando de um lado pro outro para o queijo derreter e se sirva! 🤤🤤⠀

i’ve always been a big fan of zoodles with red sauce and i don’t know why i never thought of adding pesto to them...so HERE WE ARE!❤️

super simple just spiralize some zucchini (i use a @kitchenaidusa spirilizer) or i know @cecesveggieco sells premade zoodles and many other brands as well!! just check out your grocery stores

Selv om man er ute å reiser og det blir sene dager, er det viktig med et godt måltid.
Sånn ble det idag også. Det ble sent men måtte ha mat, så jeg måtte ha noe enkelt.
Lomper er noe jeg ofte bruker til lunsj eller turmat, men også til enkle middager.
Idag ble det speltlomper med salatmix, grilla kylling, paprika, avokado, jordbær og ristede pinjekjerner, toppet med en lett blanding av kesam, grov sennep, salt.
Dette passer godt til en god lunsj også.
