I have a really bad memory (like realllly bad 😅) but one of the perks of that is I always think the meal I’m eating now is the best it’s ever been😂 Always gotta look on the bright side 😉 So in my personal opinion, these are the best zucchini boats ever 😎 I’ve really been on a marinara sauce kick lately- is that even a thing? 🤷🏼‍♀️ So I’ve been making lots of pizza and spaghetti dishes! Thankful this made enough for leftovers. We’re hopefully going to play some night tennis later 🎾 We’re super competitive which always makes things interesting 😅 Hope you guys had a good Monday! -

#recipe details 👉🏻 Preheat oven to 400F
Take 4 zucchini and cut in 1/2. Take a spoon and scoop out the middle and add to a bowl, you’ll use it later on. Grease a baking pan and add the zucchini to them. Bake at 400F for 15 minutes.
While the zucchini cook, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add:
1 diced onion and 1 lb ground beef (I used @butcher_box) with a little bit of oil. Season with 1 tsp garlic and 1 tsp Italian seasoning. Cook until browned, making sure to break up the beef.
Add in the zucchini middle part when the meat is almost done and mix it in there.
Then add in 1 cup marinara (Used @aldiusa Sauce)
When the zucchini are done, remove and add the mixture into the middle part. Top with some cheese (I used feta) and bake 10 more minutes. Enjoy!

METHI SPINACH PARATHA
Fenugreek seeds are famous for their ability to lower blood sugar levels ans maintain weight. They contain fibre and also helps to slow down the digestion process whereas spinach is an extremely nutrient-rich vegetable contains several vitamins and minerals, that can help regulate your blood sugar level and It has only 120 calories per thepla so You can easily incorporate this in your diet for weight loss.
Method to prepare: (It's very easy🙈)

✔️Put 5 gms fenugreek and spinach leaves in a bowl. Add salt, green chilli (2-3 chopped), carom seeds (1/2 teaspoon), turmeric powder (1/2 teaspoon) and chilli powder(1/2 teaspoon) and mix well.

✔️Add little water in the flour (25gms) and knead into a stiff dough. Add oil and knead again. Cover it and set aside for 10-15 minutes.

✔️Divide dough into equal portions, flatten and roll out into thin small discs. Heat a non-stick tawa and roast the parathas with minimum oil, turning sides and till golden from both sides. Serve hot with mint chutney.
Tip: To make it more nutritious you can use multigrain flour which is better to make at home (Do not prefer Aashirwad multigrain flour as it has only 10% of multigrain)

So you've worked out your Calorie Requirements for your Goal (deficit, maintenance or surplus) 🙌🏻 but now you're wondering how much of that total daily allowance should come from each Macronutrient? 🧐

Here are a few guidelines and #toptips I use with my clients when we're creating a diet plan:
1️⃣ Protein - aim for 1.5-2g of protein per KG of bodyweight 🍗 eating sufficient protein is key whatever your goal may be - it helps your body hold on to existing muscle and build new muscle -- while also being highly satiating
2️⃣ Fats vs. Carbs - this is often specific to the individual depending on insulin sensitivity and personal preference so you can play around a bit here to see what works best for you, just keep this in mind ⬇️
3️⃣ Fats - are key for hormonal regulation and vitamin absorption from food, so they're pretty important! 🥑 this means you don't want to be taking your intake too low for long periods of time ❌ BUT at 9kcal p/gram they are more calorie dense than other macros which is why reducing your intake for short periods of time can be an effective weight loss tool
4️⃣ Carbohydrates - are technically a non-essential nutrient (which means unlike protein and fats they CAN be synthesized by the body) in theory this means you can function without carbs in your diet 🥐 BUT I would not recommend it ❌ partly because carbohydrates are an efficient energy source for the body which will fuel your workouts but also because carbs are DELICIOUS and a life without bread is no life at all 😱
5️⃣ Summary 🤔 With Clients I will usually start on an even split of: Protein 35% Fats 35% Carbs 30% and go from there, depending on how they feel we may play around with the fat and carb % while keeping protein intake consistent .
