Just a daily reminder to make sure you’re giving your body enough energy and nutrients to make sure it can do the billions of processes that keep you moving, thinking, breathing, talking, walking every damn day 👊🏼
Food is a basic human right and an important part of self care, so I just wanted to reiterate that eating should not be associated with feelings of guilt!! No one feels guilty for going to the loo right 🤷🏼♀️
Plus under eating is associated with a whole plethora of overlooked side effects including:
Hunger, irritability, tiredness, dizziness, slower metabolism, always thinking about food, nutrient deficiencies, low mood, poor sleep, feeling cold, binge eating, amenorrhoea (loss of period), compromised bone health, low libido, weakened immune system, constipation, poor concentration, more obsessive and detail focused thinking and behaviours, distorted body image, obscured hunger and fullness signals and more...⚠️
Basically, your body NEEDS food, so please remember that you need and deserve to eat!🙏🏼 .
