When it comes to fitness, you have to have routine. If not, your chances of falling off the wagon are quite high due to the lack of structure in your day. When it is routine, it becomes habit and lifestyle and you don't have to think about anything too much, rather just get it done. Here is an example of my schedule: first, I wake up and have a coffee and start laying out my goals for the day including what I know I have to get done in terms of a checklist. This sets the tone for the day, getting me focused on what I got to do. From there I move to my 45 to 60 minutes fasted walk which I've spoken about extensively on my page before of the numerous benefits including oxidation of stubborn body fat due to the lower intensity work and the insulin being in minimal amounts on the bloodstream; allowing the body to utilize that body fat it wouldn't otherwise prioritize as fuel. Then, much like everyone else, I go to work and grind it out. After work, I hit the gym. I currently follow a full body split which may turn back into a push/pull split soon. I go intense and I go with a purpose. Finally, I get home and unwind and get ready for bed, 8 to 9 hours before I repeat this whole thing again. Obviously I fit my 6 to 8 meals in this schedule too, but these are the main points. You need a schedule and whether it looks like this or is different, it needs to happen because routine and lifestyle is where those results will come.

👟For weight loss and maintenance, NEAT becomes critical. The main issue with people dieting is that their NEAT reduces dramatically and that’s why they hit plateaus or regain all the weight. Your body will perceive the calorie deficit as a threat and save energy. Exercising isn’t enough to compensate for this, and it can even make things worse if then it makes you less active throughout the rest of the day. .
🌿Formal exercise, and especially strength training, is important for health, to have strong muscles and bones. But leading an active lifestyle is super important as well, and it’s NEAT what’s going to determine that.

💥7 practical ways to increase your NEAT if you’re sedentary (bc “walk more” is vague):
-Go to daily Mass 😜. Bonus: if you have a church very close to your home, walk to another one
-If you’re going to go somewhere in public transportation, don’t take it in the nearest stop, walk to the next one (alternatively, get down one stop before)
-Do household chores and run errands
-Walk around the room while you’re studying, reading and checking social media
-Have a pet or a baby and play with them 😂
-Sit bouncing on a fitball it instead of on a chair when watching youtube videos or doing buzzfeed tests
-When working on your desk, do frequent pauses to stretch and move. 5 minutes of walking per hour is recommended if possible

I had to REALLY push myself to get to the end of each of the rounds in this workout and by the abs section I was super struggling so had to put the weight down on the side planks 😅 I don’t mind that though! I was giving it 100% and that’s all that matters.

Complete four sets of each exercise (this is just the legs & bum section!) Start with 20 reps, then 14 reps, 12 reps and finally 10 reps. If this doesn’t get a bead of sweat dripping off you I don’t know what would!!! 💪🏻

Your IT Band is connective a band of tissue that runs from the top of the hip to past your knee, the muscles connected to this are the TFL ( Tensor Fasciae Latae) and the Gluteus Maximus.🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️ •Pain attributed to this area from tightness or weakness in your hips or alterations in your foot mechanics. •Stretching and strengthening your TFL muscle and Gluteus Maximus will reduce pain as these muscles connect the IT Band to the hip joint. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 Exercise 1️⃣ for TFL -Half kneeling position, lung forward till you feel a nice stretch down your leg. For more of an intense stretch raise your opposite arm up and bend slight over to one side. Hold for 30 seconds and repeat 3x daily to help loosen up.
Exercise 2️⃣ for both TFL and Gluteus Max – Use foam roller to roll out the TFL and Gluteus Max. Roll out each for a few minutes, putting a little pressure to loosen the muscles up.
Great to do pre-workout and post workout!👍🏼👍🏼 Exercise 3️⃣ – Single Leg Stance – a version of the Romanian deadlift. Doing one leg at a time, standing upright with knees slightly bent, slowly lift one leg back, hold for the stretch, then release and switch to the other side. This is not only a great stretch but can be used as an exercise with weights to strengthen your muscles around the IT band as well! .

Si tenemos un entrenador o alguien experto que nos asesore solamente tendremos que seguir sus consejos e indicaciones.🐶 Si no tenemos entrenador y somos autodidactas es recomendable observar vídeos de corredores profesionales con una buena técnica e intentar imitar sus movimientos durante la carrera. WHY IS IT SO GOOD? 👇

By using both ropes, instead of typically using just one, you can get a much better contraction in your Triceps. Going through a full range of motion allows you to stimulate more muscle fibers and in turn, increase your opportunity to gain size. ✅

BONUS TIP 👇

Make sure to train your Arms 2-3 times per week if you are serious about speeding up your gains. 🏃🏼‍♂️ The more frequently you stimulate growth in a muscle group, the more often you break down and then allow for repairing of the muscle tissue. This repairing process combined with sufficient protein and a preferably a calorie surplus is what will result in you gaining size and strength. 🔥

The most common dilemma for the potential client is to decide which package they actually need/want. Since I work in Fressi now, I am playing by the rules, which are based on selling packages. Each package has a set amount of meetings and you, as a customer, can decide for what you want to use those meetings. Because very often I hear: 'I only need to fix nutrition, I can manage workouts by myself'. Well, why do you think it is less work for a trainer to plan your meals, check diaries, do measurements weekly than to plan workout programm? Just buy a package of 5-10 meetings and use them to discuss about nutrition and meal planning or some meetings can be trainings, some can be discussing nutrition plan, as long as 1 single session (training or talking) is 50 min, that's what I usually advice😊

Каждый пакет содержит фиксированное количество тренировок/встреч, и вы, как клиент, можете решить на что их потратить: либо только тренировки, либо коррекция питания, либо и то и то, но каждая встреча включает 50 минут. Вы можете забронировать 50 минут коррекция питания и 50 минут тренировка. Почему я это объясняю, потому что очень часто слышу: 'Мне нужно всего лишь скорректировать питание, с тренировками я и сам справлюсь'. Хм, почему вы думаете, что коррекция пищевого поведения попадает под разряд 'всего лишь'? Это занимает не меньше, а даже больше времени. Поэтому, если вам нужна коррекция пищевого поведения и вы не хотите заниматься спортом, вы все равно можете купить 5-10 встреч и потратить их на самообразование и работу с тренером в копилку своих пищевых привычек на годы вперёд.

Так как я работаю во Фресси, то играю по их правилам, которые подразумевают продажу пакетов. Каждый пакет содержит фиксированное количество тренировок/встреч, и вы, как клиент, можете решить на что их потратить: либо только тренировки, либо коррекция питания, либо и то и то, но каждая встреча включает 50 минут. Вы можете забронировать 50 минут коррекция питания и 50 минут тренировка. Почему я это объясняю, потому что очень часто слышу: 'Мне нужно всего лишь скорректировать питание, с тренировками я и сам справлюсь'. Хм, почему вы думаете, что коррекция пищевого поведения попадает под разряд 'всего лишь'? Это занимает не меньше, а даже больше времени. Поэтому, если вам нужна коррекция пищевого поведения и вы не хотите заниматься спортом, вы все равно можете купить 5-10 встреч и потратить их на самообразование и работу с тренером в копилку своих пищевых привычек на годы вперёд.
