I was actually surprised that cauliflower had as much as watermelon, and that apples only had 81%! It's amazing how much water is in our fruits and vegetables and is another reason to make sure we're eating plenty of them!
Not only should we be replenishing our body's fluids by drinking water, but by eating a variety of fruits and vegetables as well. They are also great choices for weight loss because they are relatively low in calories and provide lots of fiber to keep us full. Having our plates be at least half in fruits in vegetables allows us to eat until we're full without consuming too many calories. Being able to to actually eat a satisfying amount of food while losing weight, versus limiting portions to restrict calories, facilitates weight loss.
Around 60% of your total body weight is water. Every cell, tissue and organ needs it. Water helps with regulating body temperature, transporting nutrients, dissolving minerals and nutrients, protecting the brain, kidney function, cushioning joints, and blood volume.
The amount of water you need depends on your activity level, the temperature and whether you're losing excess water through sweat, urine, or bowel movements. According to the U.S. Reference Dietary Intake (RDI), under normal circumstances women need 2.7 liters, and men need 3.7 liters of water daily. This recommended intake includes the water you get from foods.

It's effortlessly filling and my babies love it in their straw sippy cups! (They had this as their dessert after their vegan grilled cheese) It's a great way to sneak in some healthy greens for picky eaters.

Don't get me wrong, GATORADE is tasty, but it may very well be because it's has way more sugar than we like to admit. And I always thought the coaches watered it down during two-a-days on purpose, this is possibly the reason why.🥥
